Human Trafficking: Does it really affect my community?

(one-day workshop)

Description: Bibiana and Zuzana have worked with Medical Ambassadors International in curriculum development to address Human Trafficking in CHE communities around the world. The morning sessions will cover an overview of available resources, mapping of participants’ experiences in their own locations and exposure to what is being used in other countries: Children’s book to prevent sexual abuse, Horticultural therapy Trauma Healing and tips for helping identify and heal those coming to us for help.

Rosi’s vast experience in Mexico and international contexts will be shared, including after care and policy making at governmental level, stories of transformation, and her journey in the difficult task of defending the rights of those trapped in modern slavery.

Target Audience: Compassionate CHE practitioners and church leaders, eager to explore this topic more in depth, and find resources that will be easy to multiply and teach others.
